What about the validity of a signature from someone of a different nationality (within the EU)?

Within the EU, there is no issue with the validity of electronic signatures. Our electronic signature complies with Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 of the European Parliament and Council, dated July 23, 2014, on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market (EIDAS Regulation).

What about the validity of a signature from someone of a different nationality (outside the EU) or residing outside the EU?

If you’re asking about the validity of an electronic signature in relation to individuals who are not of EU nationality or who reside outside the European Union, we can confirm that the non-European element will not affect the validity or effectiveness of the signed document. This is because we directly provide the necessary certification for electronic signatures, not the client themselves. Therefore, there is no need to analyze the applicability of the client’s foreign certificate. This applies under Czech law, meaning it’s valid for use of documents within the Czech Republic. For use in countries outside the European Union, the local legal systems must be examined, as they may establish different rules for electronic signatures.
