Managing Contracts
Within contracts, you can perform various actions—apart from concentrating the specific business case and creating documents within it.

You trigger actions by going to the contract overview and clicking the three dots on the far right. A menu will then appear with several options.

Opening a Contract
You can open a contract to view its details. Once opened, you will see all documents that are part of the contract. You can also rename the contract or change its number here.

Locking a Contract
You can lock a contract to prevent further modifications (typically done after the business case is completed). Locking a contract will prevent any changes to the documents assigned to it. If you need to edit some documents, you must unlock the contract first.
Within an automated document, you will be informed about the contract lock at the very top. If this text appears in the document, no progress or changes will be saved (any entered data will be lost after closing the page). The document also cannot be generated.

Changing the Owner
You can change the owner of the contract. For example, when transferring the business case to a colleague. Changing the owner will transfer the administration of the contract to the selected colleague.

Deleting a Contract
You can also delete a contract. For example, if the business case is canceled or if you created it by mistake.
